Built by Daniel Brubaker in 1830, more mills were added during the next twenty years so that, when Samuel Kunkle owned it in 1852, there was a clover mill, carding mill and fulling mill in addition to the original grist and sawmill. The 1860 map labels it a Woolen Factory.
By the time Samuel Baker purchased the property in 1880, however, the operation had been reduced to simply a chopping mill. Milling operations ended in 1920 after which the mill was repurposed into a summer house. There is a private residence on the site today and the tail race is clearly visible.
