Deer Creek begins in Shrewsbury and flows south-east into Maryland where it eventually flows into the Susquehanna River just below the Conowingo Dam. Ebaugh’s Creek begins north-west of Stewartstown and flows south until it joins the Deer Creek just over the Maryland line.
